Cabernet Blends Tasting

We will sample nine red blends from around the globe that are driven by the Cabernet Sauvignon grape Call 254-6500 to make reservations. Seating is limited.

Thrills for the Grill Tasting
Wednesday August 25 7 pm $25 per person person
Our annual “Grill Wines” tasting will again feature guest chef, Tom Bennett. We will sample three whites, three roses, and three reds to pair with food from the grill. A small tasting menu will be served to complement the wines: grilled shrimp crostini with lemon tarragon butter, mole barbecue chicken with southwestern slaw, and grilled beef medallions with red wine mushroom demi-glace and garlic mashed potatoes. The Wine Guy stocks a diverse selection of wines from around the world, focusing on smaller producers and often lesserknown varietals. Educating the consumer is a vital part of our mission as wine merchants. For that reason, we offer tastings several times a month, providing the opportunity for sampling and comparing the wide array of wine styles and grape varieties available today. Our tastings are designed to please both the casual consumer as well as the serious enthusiast. Wine dinners are offered as well, which showcase the talents of local chefs while demonstrating the magic that can be worked with proper food and wine pairings. Reservations are required for most events, and light hors d’ oeuvres are provided at tastings.
